It was real. My favorite part was understanding how to find your inner child and realizing there are many ways to connect with that part of yourself.
My initial thoughts are, "these concepts are ones I am often helping my clients explore," "this would be a great book for me to share with my clients as we on their journey of self -exploration." I liked how to had strategies for readers to use after explaining theory. I would like to read about additional strategies. As a reader, I also enjoyed reading about your story and how to worked through the healing you inner child. That provided compassion and hope. Calling a toddler a "threeanger" was hilarious. The last paragraph in chapter 4 is a great exercise that will create a lot of "aha" moments and kickstart great transformations. The way you simplified that difference between guilt and shame was enlightening.
Your book was like opening a gift box, and not knowing what you will find. I love that your book gives a woman the tools to explore their inner self, and seek self help with the steps that were given to process to succeed.
